  • VU7LD -DX-Pedition on 14.195 Mhz, OP VU2NKS with quite good signal working a nice US-pileup simplex around 15:00Z (3:40, ca. 1,2 MBytes)

  • VU4AN -DX-Pedition on 20m, working pile-up in SSB, quite good signal at that time on my 16 meter agl rotary-dipole. recorded 23th of April around 19 local (1:20, ca. 500 kBytes)

  • la3yna on 2m-Repeater DB0ZO, Osnabrueck..QRB abt 700 kms, extreme Tropo-condx in December. You may hear also a typical example of bad behaviour, some people doesn't seem to listen..not only on hf..pay attention to the dutch station (this could be - for sure - anybody else from a different country!)

    Some technical background info:
    I used my Psion 5mx-Pro PDA as digital voice recorder, allowing to save sound in a Windows-WAVE compatible format. While recording, the PDA was held near to the radio's speaker.
    Finally the raw data has been reduced in size and converted to Mpeg3-Audio using the Freeware "WAV to MP3 Encoder" by MThree Development, samplerate 16kHz, Mono.
